Pennsylvania State Police say there were almost twice as many crashes this holiday season compared to last year. Troopers responded to just over one-thousand crashes across the Commonwealth between December 24-and-28, six of which were fatal. There were almost 600 crashes during that time period in 2024 with zero deaths. PSP also noted an uptick in DUI-related wrecks and speeding citations.
