TWO MONESSEN PARENTS ON TRIAL FOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT CHARGES

Two parents from Monessen are on trial on charges of child endangerment for leaving their children in poor conditions.  The Trib reports that the trial of  31-year-old Felicia Dugan and 32-year-old Jeremiah Roberts got underway this week.  Prosecutors allege the children were found naked in an upstairs room where garbage and human waste covered the floors and walls.  Defense lawyers for the parents said prosecutors cannot prove who was at fault for the children’s living conditions.  The trial is expected to continue today.
