A cat rescue in New Kensington is asking for help from the community as the shelter deals with a shortage of food and supplies. Leaders with Frankie’s Friends are looking for donations to help keep the facility going. They say they need canned cat food, dry Purina Cat Chow, paper pellet cat litter, plus bleach and certain cleaning items. Anyone would like to help out can drop off a donation at the rescue on Fifth Avenue.
