Trial dates are being set for three suspects accused of killing a Westmoreland County grandmother. In December of 2023, 71-year-old Alice Robson was found dead in a crawlspace underneath the porch of her St. Clair Township home from gunshot wounds to her head. Robson’s daughter, Melissa Fox-Beacom, Robert Jack and Matthew Bates all face criminal homicide, murder and conspiracy charges. Prosecutors say Fox-Beacom and Bates will head to trial beginning on February 3rd, while Jack’s trial date has been set for April. Jack is believed to be cooperating in an effort to avoid a life sentence, which is why he has a separate trial date.
