The manager of the Bushy Run Battlefield museum will step down from his post. The Trib reports that Matt Adams will retire from the position on January 25th to become a letter carrier the next day. He helped guide the historical site in a post-covid time where the annual battlefield recreation was called off due to new regulations on the prohibition of living history demonstrations portraying people firing at each other and consulting with native american groups before another reenactment in 2023 , and helping the park rehab from tornado damage in 2024. The Bushy Run Battlefield Heritage Society board will operate the museum until a new manager is hired.
