A non-profit veterinary clinic in New Kensington is looking for help from the public after they saved 40 cats from a Westmoreland Rescue Clinic. The Trib reports that the cats were found sick and skinny, and were taken to Frankie’s Friends, but they are expected to survive with proper medical care. Officials declined to name the rescue organization as no charges have been filed against it, but the investigation continues. Frankie’s Friends are looking for emergency foster homes along with cleaning supplies and financial donations to help care for the cats.
