Hempfield School District’s superintendent says despite visible water leaks and ceiling damage, air quality is at safe levels. The Trib reports that a report submitted to the district in September by Skelly and Loy of Harmar showed no mold or air quality concerns in their tests. The district plans to move forward with a roof replacement project as part of the long-awaited high school renovation that will start this summer. Some sections, including above the auditorium and auxiliary gym, have been replaced in recent years because of the leaks.
