HEMPFIELD WOMAN CHARGED WITH SHOOTING DEATH ASKS FOR SPEEDY TRIAL

A Hempfield woman charged in the shooting death of her husband is asking for a speedy trial.  The Trib reports that 51-year-old Leann Steel is accused of killing 54-year-old William on October 18th of last year during an argument.  Her attorney Tim Andrews said that they want to see a jury decide this case as soon as possible.  Jury selection is set to begin in March.
