A former director of the Western PA Youth Football League is accused of taking $227,000 in league funds. The Trib reports that 57-year-old Bill Spencer allegedly used the money to pay bills, make payments on a vehicle and start a bathroom remodeling job. Spencer was the executive director for the 44-team league which included teams in Westmoreland County. He resigned in absentia in 2025. A preliminary hearing is set for March 11th.
