TESTIMONY UNDERWAY IN STANKO TRIAL

Testimony got underway yesterday in the trial of Thomas Stanko.  The Trib reports that Stanko is charged with the death of Cassandra Gross.  During the trial yesterday, Cassandra’s mother Kathie took the stand, calling Stanko was possessive and felt that he was responsible for her daughters disappearance and death.  Other witnesses said that Cassandra became fearful for her safety, and how Stanko would sometimes lurk at her home.  The prosecution is expected to call more witnesses this morning.
