The Mount Pleasant Area School District is suspending a partnership with a school photo vendor due to concerns over a possible link to Jeffrey Epstein. Superintendent Tim Gabauer says the district has parted ways with Lifetouch Photography as a parent company executive is accused of having ties with the disgraced money manager. Apollo CEO Leon Black had a documented business relationship with Epstein and was in charge at Apollo when it bought Shutterfly, the Lifetouch owners, in 2019. A Lifetouch spokesperson says no executives there have ever had any contact with Epstein and Apollo did not acquire Shutterfly until after the convicted sex offender’s death.
