A Monroeville man was sentenced on Friday to serve six to 12 years in prison for stealing guns and cash from a home in Unity over two years ago. The Trib reports that 20-year-old Myles Kacin pleaded guilty to felony counts of robbery, conspiracy, aggravated assault and other crimes connected with the theft on December 5th at a unity home. Police contend Kacin was among of six people who stole guns and $5,000 in cash. Witnesses said Kacin and five others were part of group who arrived at the home and started a physical altercation in which the victims were threatened at gunpoint and one man was assaulted.
