A Detroit teenager linked to 97 Walmart thefts was arrested in North Huntingdon. The Trib reports that 18-year-old Andrew Reed of Detroit was arrested last Thursday at the Mills Drive Walmart in North Huntingdon. According to a criminal complaint, Reed allegedly tried to make a fraudulent purchase of two video game consoles and two virtual reality headsets at a self-serve checkout counter. Walmart employees intercepted the transaction, and the suspect left the store without the merchandise. A preliminary hearing is set for March 6th.
