The Pirates are mourning the loss of a World Series hero. Bill Mazeroski died on Friday. He was 89. The second baseman slugged a walk-off home run in Game Seven to clinch the title in 1960. Mazeroski was known for his defense after winning eight Gold Gloves over his 17-year career with Pittsburgh. He also earned 10 All-Star game selections and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.
