ARNOLD MAN SENTENCED FOR SHOOTING DEATH

The man responsible for the shooting death of 33-year-old Anthone Williams of Arnold was sentenced yesterday in Westmoreland County Court.  The Trib reports that 35-year-old Letresse Williams of New Kensington, who is not related, was ordered to serve life in prison without parole on Monday.  Prosecutors say he and another unnamed person shot and killed Anthone during a robbery involving a drug dealer in a parking lot in New Kensington.  During the sentencing, Letresse’s mother Phyllis begged for her son to identify his accomplice.
