Flags will fly at half-staff in Pennsylvania next month in honor of Reverend Jesse Jackson. Governor Josh Shapiro has ordered United States and Commonwealth flags to be lowered on March 7th, the last day of Reverend Jackson’s memorial services. The order will be in effect until sunset. In a statement following Jackson’s death earlier this month, Shapiro remembered him as a “change maker, a boundary breaker, and a passionate and unrelenting crusader for civil rights, equality and opportunity.”
