The Penn-Trafford School District will spend close to $667,000 over the next four years to purchase iPads for students in middle school. The Trib reports that 1300 devices will be bought at an annual cost of $166,700 through the 2029-2030 academic year. District officials expect the iPads to be more cost effective than the Chromebook laptops it previously purchased for students.
