A Lower Burrell man was ordered to serve up to three years in prison for charges connected with a high speed chase. The Trib reports that 36-year-old Charles Stitt pleaded guilty in January to nine counts connected with the incident on June 14th of last year where he blocked a woman from driving away from his home with her three children then pursued her vehicle before he pulled in front and stopped it in the middle of the road, threw himself on the his victim’s hood and later threatened to kill the occupants. Stitt also pleaded guilty to another case where he tried to evade capture by police after they tried to take him into custody when his bond was revoked.
