Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are now at airports across the country, including at Pittsburgh International Airport. In a social media post over the weekend, President Trump said ICE would be sent in to help TSA agents who’ve been working without pay during the partial government shutdown. They’ve been calling out sick or in some cases, quitting their jobs altogether, as the shutdown drags on. The Pittsburgh International Airport has confirmed that ICE agents were scheduled to arrive at the airport yesterday, but has not said how ICE will operate at the airport.
