MURRYSVILLE LAWYER TAKES THE STAND IN HIS OWN DEFENSE

A Murrysville lawyer took the stand in his own defense in his trial on a reported road rage incident.  The Trib reports that 49-year-old Brad Funari is on trial for an incident where he reportedly drove at a car that had his ex-wife and her father.  He said that the claims that he ran them off the road and taunted then were false and that he was the victim of a conspiracy involving his former wife and local police to boost her efforts to secure custody of their five children.  Westmoreland County Judge Tim Krieger is expected to announce a verdict today.
