Ligonier Township Supervisors formally rejected a request from the Waterford Fire Department to rezone its property for commercial use, leaving the Ligonier Country Market without a home for now. The Trib reports that the vote was unanimous among the three allowed to vote as two others had to abstain due to their connections to the department. The move means Ligonier Country Market cannot set up there. The market was also prohibited from setting up in the field on Loyalhanna Watershed Property like they had for the last 25 years.
