BOND DENIED FOR PLANET FITNESS SHOOTER

Bond was denied for a man charged with a shooting outside a Planet Fitness in East Huntingdon Township.  The Trib reports that 39-year-old Steven Heald is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and stalking in connection with the incident on January 13th outside the gym in the Crossroads Plaza.  He is accused of stalking and pistol-whipping 45-year-old Joshua Lucas, who was dating his estranged wife.  Police said Lucas suffered gunshot wounds to his shoulder, buttocks and hip, as well as bruises and cuts from the beating.  A trial date has not been set as of yet.
