A Plum man accused of driving toward a news crew will have his case move to trial. According to the Tribune-Review, 77-year-old Harold Dicer waived his preliminary hearing on charges including simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police say Dicer tried to drive his SUV into a television crew outside a court hearing involving his son, a former teacher facing sexual assault charges. Defense attorneys say they expected the case to be resolved at a lower level, but it will now head to Allegheny County Court for trial.
