A man accused of robbing an activist outside the Westmoreland County Courthouse says the incident was triggered by PTSD, according to the Tribune Review. Police say 47-year-old Justin Bowser drove onto a sidewalk in March, grabbed an upside-down American flag from a protester, and pushed him before fleeing the wrong way down a one-way street. His attorney says the flag triggered memories from military service, including funerals for fellow soldiers. Bowser waived his preliminary hearing and plans to take the case to trial. The activist returned to protesting the next day.
