NEW-KEN ARNOLD SCHOOL DISTRICT RESIDENTS COULD SEE TAX INCREASE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR

New Kensington-Arnold School District residents could see a 2% tax increase for the next school year.  The Trib reports that the proposed budget was passed earlier this week, and the move would bring in over $220,000 in additional tax revenue.   Expenditures for next school year are estimated at nearly $50.4 million.  Officials say the extra money will go towards new curriculum.
