LATROBE WOMAN KILLED IN HEAD-ON CRASH

A Latrobe woman died in a head-on crash Saturday night on Route 981.  The Trib reports that the crash was reported at 11:15 PM   State troopers say Kimberly Ohler of Latrobe was driving her SUV south when she crossed the center line and hit another SUV driven by 22-year-old Rhian Ward of New Alexandria.  Ohler was pronounced dead at Independence Health System in Latrobe.  Ohler was not wearing her seat belt at the time.  The Westmoreland County Coroner confirmed that she died from blunt force trauma.  Ward suffered minor injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital.
