RAT INFESTATION IN ROSTRAVER

Citizens in Rostraver are dealing with a surplus population of rats.  KDKA-TV reports that the rats have been seen over the last few weeks coming from a property off Route 51 near Adams Road.  Township Zoning Officers said that there’s evidence of conditions that contribute to rodent activity, including accumulation of garbage and unsanitary materials. The owner claims that the rats have been dumped on their property and is working with a pest control company to fix the problem.
