Police are looking for a man who reportedly kicked a Monessen police officer and fled the scene. WTAE-TV reports that Joshua Ross was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over near a home known for drug activity on Tuesday. The unnamed driver gave consent for police to search the vehicle, and when police went to search Ross, they reportedly found a crack pipe on him. When police went to detain him, he allegedly dove into the car and kicked the officer. Police said he continued to fight with officers and was even tased, but he was able to get away going towards I-70. Anyone with information on Ross’ whereabouts should call police at 724-684-6151.
