E-BIKES AND ELECTRIC SCOOTERS BANNED FROM PENN TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL PARK

E-bikes and Electric Scooters have been banned from the municipal park in Penn Township.  The Trib reports that the vote was unanimous at yesterday’s meeting to not allow the vehicles.  The move was prompted by increasing residents complaints regarding e-bike and e-scooter use, according to township secretary and manager Mary Perez.  Western Pennsylvania police and municipal officials have looked in recent months for ways to manage e-bike and e-scooter use as some riders ignore traffic laws.
