Wednesday night, the Greensburg-Salem School board approved the 2026-27 budget which contains a 1.9% property tax increase. The Trib reports the budget tops out at $54.76 million. The district’s property tax rate is now 96.55 mills. For a home assessed at the district’s median value of $17,200, the 1.83-mill tax hike would mean paying an additional $31.47 per year.
