DERRY AREA SCHOOL BOARD TO MEET TONIGHT TO VOTE ON AD HOC COMMITTEE TO STUDY FUTURE OF CALDWELL MEMORIAL LIBRARY

The Derry Area School Board will meet tonight to vote on forming an ad hoc committee to study the future of Caldwell Memorial Library.  The Trib reports the committee stems from a vote on June 4th to table a vote that would have closed the library, which serves as the community’s only public library.  The potential closure of the library in the high school stemmed from a campus wide renovation project and drew opposition from about 20 residents at the June 4 meeting,
