Westmoreland County Officials and Penn State are starting to plan for the future of the New Kensington branch campus. The Trib reports that the campus is one of the ones slated to close in the Spring of next year. A community survey is being utilized to get input on how the site will be utilized. Penn State Regional Chancellor Megan Nagel said because no decisions have been made on the campuses’ “long-term direction,” the university can’t discuss a sale price, process or timeline. The survey is live until August 6th and we have the link on our website.
