The PA budget deadline has passed without a spending plan in place. While the state house is using today and tomorrow to further discuss the budget, the state senate is currently in recess until they are called back by the President Pro Tempore. Some of the key disagreements include the overall spending amount, the use of rainy day funds, and revenue from legalizing marijuana and skill games. Senator Joe Pittman says they feel they could return to session to pass a budget as soon as next week.
