Greensburg’s mayor is calling for regulations concerning E-bikes and E-scooters. The Trib reports that Mayor Robb Bell has received many complaints about the vehicles on the sidewalk, saying it’s starting to get out of control. Greensburg Police Chief Charles Irvin confirmed the complaints saying that legislation from the state has not caught up with technology yet. State lawmakers have proposed a slew of legislation related to e-bikes and electric scooters. Current law requires a rider to be at least 16 to operate an e-bike, a bicycle with electric assist.
