NEW KEN ELKS LODGE TO REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL JULY 2027

The New Kensington Elks Lodge will remain closed until July of 2027 in connection with a shooting last year at the establishment in late 2025.  KDKA-TV reports that DA Nicole Ziccarelli and the State Police Liquor Enforcement filed an emergency injunction last year for the shooting and several other incidents that they were called for, and for repeated PLCB violations.  Last December, Steffon Ballard allegedly shot his brother Jeffrey after a fight with another man in the parking lot.
