A Westmoreland County man is looking to run as a Libertarian for the Pennsylvania House 60th District seat. Allegheny Township resident Brian Peltier has submitted signatures from over 650 voters in his bid to appear on the November ballot. A registered Republican and a registered Democrat in the district have filed a joint objection to Peltier’s documents, arguing well over 150 of the signatures he submitted are not valid. A hearing related to that claim is scheduled for next week. Pennsylvania House District 60 covers areas of Westmoreland and Armstrong counties. Incumbent Republican state Representative Abby Major and Democrat Dustyn Dorn are running for the office as well.
