A former Highlands school district teacher’s trial for indecent assault of a child and other crimes will be delayed six months. The Trib reports that Sean Dicer’s trial has been rescheduled for February 3rd before Allegheny County Judge Jamie Hickton. Allegheny County Police in December charged Dicer, a district teacher for nearly 20 years, with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, unlawful contact with a minor and sexual extortion. In January, police filed separate charges against Dicer, which stemmed from alleged incidents said to have happened in 2007 at the former Fairmount Elementary School. He was remanded to house arrest in lieu of county jail.
