MAJOR RENOVATIONS UNDERWAY AS SCHOOL STARTS AT HEMPFIELD AREA HIGH SCHOOL

Students are back at Hempfield Area High School as major renovations are underway.  The new school year kicked off yesterday with a 120-million-dollar building project already started.  The entire front section of the school is being overhauled and a new innovation center is being added.  Areas of the building and the property will remain inaccessible to students and staff as the work goes on.  Construction is expected to last into June of 2029.
