A pilot killed in a midair collision with a Pennsylvania State Police helicopter on Wednesday is identified as a physician. Officials say 57-year-old Dr. Paul Sokoloski was killed when a small plane he was piloting made a sudden turn and hit a chopper near Carlisle Airport, injuring two state troopers onboard. Sokoloski worked as an emergency medicine physician for Penn State Health. The crash remains under investigation.
