An Ohio man is now in jail after state police said he removed guns and drugs from his SUV after a two-vehicle crash in Salem last month. The Trib reports that 44-year-old Daniel Junker was charged in connection with the crash on July 31st on Route 22 near the Route 66 interchange. Junker was seen after the crash unloading items from the Jeep Compass he was driving into bags on the highway and his pockets, according to court papers. They seized a loaded pistol from his waistband and pocketknives, in addition to an assault rifle, revolver, ammunition, a bag of psilocybin mushrooms and pills in the SUV. He was arraigned Monday morning and waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Bail was set at $50,000 and he was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison.
