A man is facing charges for a domestic-related incident that happened August 20th on Irwin Drive. WTAE-TV reports that Upper Burrell Police were called out to the home for a domestic dispute between 30-year-old Marco Ciappetta and another relative. Police said as officers tried to approach the house, he ran through the home with a knife above his head and threatened to kill an officer, charging at him with a knife. Upper Burrell police disarmed Ciappetta and an officer suffered a minor laceration. Ciappetta is now facing multiple charges, including aggravated assault, assault on a law enforcement officer, terroristic threats, and other related charges.
