ABANDONED POOL AT LIGONIER BEACH TO BE TESTED FOR LEAD

The abandoned pool at Ligonier Beach Park will be tested for lead after someone alleged that a lead-based paint was used on the pool.  The Trib reports that the Ligonier Township Supervisors has directed their engineering group to conduct the lead testing.  It’s believed that the lead may have contaminated the park and killed fish in nearby Loyalhanna Creek.
