PA STATE TROOPERS ASSOCIATION ENDORSES GOVERNOR SHAPIRO FOR RE-ELECTION

The Pennsylvania State Troopers Association is endorsing Governor Josh Shapiro for re-election.  The State Police union announced on Monday it is backing the Democrat Shapiro this November against Republican challenger Stacy Garrity.  Association President Stephen Polishan says the governor has been a “strong and consistent supporter” of the department and has “demonstrated a genuine understanding of what it takes to recruit, retain, equip and support Pennsylvania State Troopers.”  The State Troopers Association had previously endorsed Republicans Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dave McCormick for U.S. Senate.
