MOSQUITO SPRAY TRUCKS WILL BE OUT IN JEANNETTE, PENN TOWNSHIP, AND PENN BOROUGH TODAY

Spray trucks will be out in Jeannette, Penn Township and Penn Borough as part of targeted mosquito control efforts today.  The Trib reports that truck-mounted, ultra-low volume spray control efforts will start in the late evening in residential and recreational areas following the detection of high populations of mosquitoes. The DEP is also advising people to eliminate stagnant water supplies and containers that may hold them to reduce the number of mosquitoes.
