LATROBE CITY COUNCIL APPROVES UPGRADES

Latrobe city council has approved a proposal to upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment at city hall and lighting at the municipal garage and solid waste transfer station.  The Trib reports that Tudi Mechanical Systems will make the installations for nine new air handlers starting next fall, but the agreements had to be signed Monday in order to take advantage of a utility rebate of over $140,000 from FirstEnergy.
