🏈 Johnson’s Good Guy of the Game: McAlister Steele 🏈

Congratulations to Jeannette senior McAlister Steele, our Johnson’s Good Guy of the Game!

A standout kicker for the Jayhawks, McAlister scored 72 points last season, connecting on 11 of 12 field goals and 39 extra points. This season, he’s doing whatever his team needs—contributing as a kicker, punter, receiver, tight end and outside linebacker.

McAlister hopes to kick at the Division I level and has already attended prospect camps at Pitt, Duquesne and Robert Morris. His mindset? “Whatever is God’s plan.”

At Johnson’s, we like to say “We’re the Good Guys!” But we know there are good guys and gals all across our communities—young and old—who are setting an example for others through the way they live, lead and serve.

McAlister Steele is one of them.

Congratulations, McAlister, and best of luck during your senior season. Keep working hard, keep trusting God’s plan and keep Doing Good and Passing It On.

📣 JOHNSON’S GOOD GAL OF THE GAME! 🖤💛

Congratulations to Gianna Welsh, a sophomore cheerleader at Greensburg Salem High School, our latest Johnson’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Good Gal of the Game!

Cheerleading is all about bringing the energy, supporting your team and lifting up the people around you — and we think that fits perfectly with Johnson’s message to “Do Good and Pass It On!”

Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines, supporting her classmates or looking toward her future, Gianna has plenty to be excited about. After high school, she hopes to continue her education with the goal of going to medical school someday. 🩺

For now, she’s bringing the spirit to Friday nights and representing the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions! 🦁

👏 Congratulations, Gianna! Keep cheering. Keep dreaming. And keep doing good and passing it on!

🏈 JOHNSON’S GOOD GUY OF THE GAME! 🏈

Congratulations to Brody Chismar, quarterback for the Greensburg Salem Golden Lions, our latest Johnson’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Good Guy of the Game!

Brody is a difference-maker on both sides of the stat sheet. Last season, he completed 101 of 203 passes for 1,371 yards and 15 touchdowns, while throwing just four interceptions.

And he can get it done on the ground, too! Brody led the Golden Lions in rushing with 477 yards and four touchdowns.

Johnson’s is proud to team up with WHJB-FM’s Friday Night Lights to recognize local student-athletes who work hard, lead their teams and represent their schools and communities well.

Congratulations to Jayce Powell, junior receiver for the Jeannette Jayhawks, our Johnson’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Good Guy of the Week during Week 2 of WHJB-FM’s Friday Night Lights!

Jayce has certainly made his mark on the field. During his sophomore season, he hauled in 57 receptions for 1,023 yards and 10 touchdowns.

But what makes Jayce stand out goes well beyond the numbers.

Despite his individual success, Jayce would much rather talk about his team and what they’re accomplishing together. He also earned a 4.0 GPA during his sophomore year, and Coach Paulone praises Jayce for the leadership and character he brings to the Jayhawks.

Great athlete. Great student. Great teammate. That’s what being a Good Guy is all about.

 Congratulations, Jayce!
