SUSPECT IN CUSTODY AFTER MONROEVILLE SHOOTING

A suspect is in custody after a young woman was found shot to death in Monroeville yesterday afternoon.  Allegheny County police say the body of 18-year-old Joselyn Thomas was discovered by officers at the Cambridge Square apartments around 3:15 p.m., roughly two hours after she was reported missing to authorities in North Versailles.  Eighteen-year-old Albert Williams has been arrested and the district attorney’s office is working on filing formal charges.  No details on how the shooting happened or a possible motive have been released so far.
