PEDESTRIAN AIRLIFTED TO HOSPITAL AFTER BEING HIT IN ROSTRAVER

A pedestrian in Rostraver was airlifted to an area hospital after they were hit while walking on an area roadway Saturday night.  The Trib reports the collision was on Route 51 near the intersection with Webster Hollow Road, and it happened just before 10 PM.  Police said that the driver remained on scene throughout the investigation.  State Police’s accident reconstruction team, Rostraver and West Newton EMS and Rostraver Central Fire Department assisted on-scene.  The collision is being investigated.
