After 75 years, a New Kensington man who was killed in the line of duty in Korea has been laid to rest, with his family able to finally mourn his death. The Trib reports that Roland Bowser died in service in 1951, but his remains were never positively identified. Unbeknownst to the family, Roland’s remains were buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in 1956. His funeral service was held yesterday where his remains now lay, in Arlington National Cemetery.
