POSSBILE CANCELLATION OF WESTMORELAND COUNTY AIRSHOW IN 2026

The Westmoreland County Airport Authority could possibly cancel the 2026 edition of the Air Show.  The Trib reports that the recommendation came from airport authority executive director Gabe Monzo, who said that they have been unable to attract a headline attraction and the fact that there is ongoing construction connected with the airport expansion project.  He recommended a one-day open house instead of holding an air show.  The last time the show was cancelled was in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
